A second trailer for Catherine Hardwicke’s Red Riding Hood has hit the Web, courtesy of Apple. Watch it here. We get a better idea of Gary Oldman’s role as the werewolf hunter, how the wolf scatters villagers when it attacks, and how much sex Amanda Seyfried has. (Also, more music and aerial shots that remind you of Twilight.) I love the way this trailer ends, with a close-up of Seyfried as she says “What big eyes you have.” The camera pans as though we’re going to get our first clear look at the wolf through her CGI breath, but it stops short. If you wanted to see more — success.

Gary Oldman=Win. I also love the nod to the original story with “what big eyes you have”.
I dislike the fact that its starting to sound like Twilight though. Just because the director also directed Twilight (very poorly, I might add) doesn’t mean this has to be another Twilight. She also directed Lords of Dogtown and Thirteen, both very good movies.
Ah, but it won’t be Twilight simply because this heroine is beautiful and talented, both of which are lacking in Twilight.
I absolutely adore Amanda Seyfried but detest Catherine Hardwicke, the movie murderer. I am torn.

Having Gary Oldman in this movie was BRILLIANT and I’m sure his performance will drive this movie!!! Best Actor EVER!!
