You’ve read about the wacky Q&A after the My Idiot Brother Sundance premiere. And you’ve checked out Lisa Schwarzbaum’s rave review of the clever comedy, which has been picked up by the Weinstein Co. for release later this year. So now let’s hear from the cast themselves. Paul Rudd and his pals Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer, and Sterling Brown, along with director Jesse Peretz, stopped by our EW photo studio to talk about the film. What was going through their minds during that Q&A? How did Rudd enjoy being so heavily bearded? How did he and Peretz get all these talented ladies to costar? All will be answered below.

I really like this cast! Can’t wait for the movie. (I also have an enormous crush on Dave Karger.)
is that really Rudd in that picture? looks more like Jon Hamm. Anyways, I’m thankful it is Rudd, because I am not in the mood to see Hamm’s hideous face on the big screen. I force myself to put up with his ugliness because I love Mad Men, but I struggle. He’s just so nasty.
