None of the films listed below has big-name stars or high budgets or running times longer than 40 minutes. But they’ve still got one thing in common with blockbusters like Inception and The Social Network: They’re nominated for the 2011 Academy Awards. You’ll be able to catch them all in the theater when Magnolia releases each category as a feature-length program on Feb. 11. Until then, take a look at the clips below, then head to the comments to let us know which ones you think will take home the gold on Oscar night.

God of Love
The Crush
Wish 143

These are coming to my local theater next week. Can’t wait to see them!
Thanks for putting these together Adam. Sadly, I wont be able to get to see them in the theater…but from these short bursts of the shorts, I’d really like to see the rest of, well, all of them, if I am honest! But if pressed to pick one of each, I’ll put odds-on with Wish 143 for live action, The Lost Thing for animation (though I did laugh at the retro look of Let’s Pollute) and Killing in the Name for the documentary.
Nice to have at least a little familiarity with these titles before Oscar night. Still probably wont get it right for the poll!
I’m no longer certain the place you are getting your info, however good topic. I must spend some time studying much more or figuring out more. Thank you for fantastic info I used to be on the lookout for this information for my mission.
