Bill Clinton and Charlie Sheen do NOT have cameos in 'The Hangover Part II,' says Todd Phillips -- EXCLUSIVE

Contrary to what you might have heard, Bill Clinton will apparently not be joining the wolf pack. Late last year, reports spread far and wide across the Internet that the former president had filmed a cameo appearance in The Hangover Part II while the sequel to the 2009 smash was shooting in Thailand. But director Todd Phillips tells EW that, although he and the film’s stars did share a dinner with Clinton while he was in Bangkok to give a speech — and Clinton and his entourage visited the set the following day — he won’t actually appear in the movie. “He stopped by the set because the Secret Service guys were like, ‘Hey, that would be fun on the way out of town to stop by a movie set,'” says Phillips. “But you can’t control what somebody writes on the Internet.” Is it possible Clinton will pop up somehow in The Hangover Part II but Phillips just doesn’t want to let the cat out of the bag yet? We’ll know for sure on May 26 when the movie opens.

While he was at it, Phillips also shot down recent rumors that Charlie Sheen is in negotiations to make a cameo in the film. “Somebody on some tiny little site made something up that said Charlie Sheen was in talks for Hangover 2 and then it gets picked up on every other site as a fact,” says the director. “It’s not true. It’s so frustrating.”

Glenn Beck is probably “sheening” at the moment. He should be drug tested.

And this has to do with this article how?

Sheen is the tie that binds everything.

      • @ Watson

LOVE IT. Also, love that “sheen” is a verb, like “xerox” and to facebook “friend” someone.

I thought that the story about Bill Clinton being in the movie sounded strange.

Well this is relief. I wonder if there will be a surprise, random celebrity in it?

“…some tiny little site…” Ooh, Devin Faraci at Bad Ass Digest is going to be sharpening his knives in readiness for his Hangover 2 review, Todd. He’s one of the most vitriolic and egotistical bloggers out there, so brace yourself…

Obviously, the ‘journalist’ Phillips just belittled from the tiny site that leaked the original story.

What blogger is delusional enough to think Phillips, or anyone else with a brain for that matter, would care what some blogger says about the movie?

        Devin Faraci.

Bradley Cooper confirmed this a week ago.

Great.. Now when will He direct an actual funny movie?!

I don’t think cameos matter in this movie, and Brady cooper is a star! some respect is deserved to the follow-up of an amazingly good movie.

Two words: Chuck Norris. I mean come on, how awesome would it be to have Chuck Norris or better yet Steven Segal to have a cameo. they both do those weird Shaolin Master/Vietnam Vet type movies where they kick ass with their Kung Fu skills.
