Image Credit: Karim HussainOne of the most enjoyable 85 minutes I’ve had at the movies recently was spent watching Hobo With a Shotgun, a new, utterly berserk homage to low-budget ’80s action flicks that stars the mighty Rutger Hauer, features lashings of gore-drenched mayhem, and has the decency to last a concise, well, 85 minutes.
Just how violent is the movie? Frankly, that’s something that is hard to put in words. So instead, I’ve posted after the jump the very, very, very, very, VERY gruesome poster which the Alamo Drafthouse cinema’s boutique merch arm Mondo has designed to commemorate the movie’s screenings next week at the SXSW Film Festival, ahead of the film’s May 6 release.

It’s a cartoon poster. It’s not that gruesome, but it is pretty fantastic. Can’t wait for this.
