News for those of you hoping Santa’s carrying something illegal in that burly bag: Warner Bros., has confirmed to EW that A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas has nabbed a release date. The follow-up to 2004′s Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle and 2008′s Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay will be in theaters on Nov. 4, 2011. Like the first two films, Christmas stars John Cho and Kal Penn — who briefly left his job working for the Obama administration to film the movie — as well as Neil Patrick Harris, playing “Neil Patrick Harris.” You’ll have to wait until Nov. 4, though, to see which drugs co-star alongside the franchise’s bad-boy Harris.

More unneeded sequels… yippee…
Agreed. 2 was a trainwreck so why not go for a 3rd?
Haha get some humor guys, because the 2rd was great.
I can’t defend the movie by itself, but I recommend watching the blueray version where you get to choose alternate version of scenes. These extended scenes totally makes up the theatrical version
I agree…. the 2nd one was incredible. Most quoted movie of the decade for me.
Obviously NPH will be high on Charlie Sheen for this one…
@ Radzinsky, but H&K is awesome so it was needed. ‘Nuff said.
If there was a sequel for every awesome movie, we’d have a lot of sequels and a sh/t ton of awful movies.
The producers said, “I guess a major tomo” (whatever that means)!? when they talked about Neil P Harris, not that it mattered…
Hopefully this will be more silly and light-hearted than the 2nd one, which was needlessly cruel and mean-spirited.
“BORN IN ’04!!”
Soon as I find a 2D showing of this, I’m all over it.
Loved the first one, thought part 2 was weak and lazy. Lets see what number 3 brings us. So I’ll definitely go see it, just with very low expectations.
No thanks.
