The winners of the 10th Annual Tribeca Film Festival were announced last night, chosen from 12 narrative and 12 documentary features, as well as prizes for first-time directors and short films. Jane Rosenthal, co-founder of the film festival (along with Robert De Niro), said, “It’s wonderful to have reached our 10th edition and to be able to celebrate with all of these gifted filmmakers. We’ve been fortunate that as we have grown we have remained a place that welcomes a diverse range of stories told by compelling and exciting filmmakers. We are truly honored that the community has supported the Festival all these years — the community of New York and the international film community.”

For World Narrative Competition: Sweden’s She Monkeys directed by Lisa Aschan

Best Actress in Narrative Feature Film: Carice Van Houten (pictured above) in Black Butterflies

Best Actor in a Narrative Feature Film: Ramadhan “Shami” Bizimana in Grey Matter

Best Cinematography: Luisa Tillinger for Artificial Paradises

Best Screenplay: Jannicke Systad Jacobsen for Turn me on, godd***it

Best New Narrative Director: Park Jungbum, of The Journals of Musan

Best Documentary Feature: Bombay Beach, directed by Alma Ar’el

Best Editing in a Documentary Feature: Purcell Carson for Semper Fi: Always Faithful

Best New Documentary Director: Pablo Croce’s Like Water

Special Jury Mention: Michael Collins for Give Up Tomorrow

Best Narrative Short Film: Man and Boy, directed by David Leon and Marcus McSweeney

Special Jury Mention: The Terms, directed by Jason LaMotte

Best Documentary and Short: Incident in New Baghdad, directed by James Spione
