If you want to see a car-heist film that doesn’t completely trample the laws of physics, the upcoming indie thriller Drive might just be the movie you’ve been waiting for. Directed by Danish filmmaker Nicolas Winding Refn — the auteur behind muscular films like Valhalla Rising and Bronson — Drive stars Ryan Gosling as a stuntman with a side-career as a Transporter-ish criminal driver. The film debuts at Cannes, and a two-minute clip just released on the Internet looks appropriately moody, filled with noir-ish visuals, a slow-burn soundtrack, and meaningful Gosling grimaces. Check out the clip after the jump…

The ultra-voluptuous Christina Hendricks will be the best thing about this movie. She is amazingly gorgeous and curvaceous. This sensual woman is indescribably beautiful. American perfection doesn’t get much purer than her.
This movie looks great.
Holy crap, looks pretty intense.
Sometimes the car chases in movies go so over-the-top in that Michael Bay way, which is okay for certain films, that you don’t buy anything. This movie, at least from this scene, Ronin, The Driver, Duel, and To LIve and Die in LA, are the best movies with car chases.
Looks cool! I want to see it. That was a very intense scene and no special effects involve from what I could see.
My two girl crushes, Christina Hendricks and Carey Mulligan, plus Ryan Gosling? Seems promising.
Also, does anyone else remember that show Drive with Nathan Fillion and Emma Stone?
Hey wait a minute! Is this plot the prequel to the Nathan Fillion Fox network series of the same name?
Looks action packed. Love the cast. Can’t wait to see it!
