Brendan Fraser will play the titular star of the family action adventure William Tell: 3D. Producer Todd Moyer announced the casting from Cannes, saying “There is no other actor who is more perfectly suited to be the patriot and family man that is William Tell.” Nick Hurran (The Prisoner, Doctor Who) is slated to direct, with production kicking off later this fall in Romania and Switzerland. In the meantime, Moyer hopes to lock in Anna Paquin to play Zora, Tell’s wife.

3D is so 2010. I guess it will take a few more major 3D bombs to finally kill it. This movie should help.
HAHAHA! Another lame-a$$ 3D movie! How weirdly desperate! Yes, in the beginning they made lotsa $$$, but, recently 3D movies sales (Hollywood in general) had been sliding…..sliding…sliding…
Hey! Since Hollywood is so “with the times” as far as their dismal movie return$ go, maybe they can put out RUBIKS CUBE:3D or The Macarena:3D!
Love Brendan Fraser, so over the whole 3D thing. I see loads of flying arrows….
I don’t know… I will watch if Anna Paquin does it.
I’ve always preferred Brendan Fraser’s smaller films such as With Honors, The Last Time, Journey to the End of the Night, The Air I Breathe, etc over the big blockbusters that he is in. These are the movies that no one sees or they go straight to DVD. No one appreciates those films and the only movies that he is in that get publicity are the godawful huge blockbusters like The Mummy films, Journey to the Center of the Earth, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Inkheart, etc.
