Might as well face it: Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins are addicted to love. The carnal kind, anyway.

News of the casting was timed to boost Thanks For Sharing‘s profile at the Cannes Film Festival marketplace, where distribution rights to the as-yet-unshot film are up for sale. The movie will be the directorial debut of Stuart Blumberg, who shared an original screenplay Oscar nomination this year for The Kids Are All Right. Ruffalo, who co-started in that movie, also got a nomination.
Gilbert Films and Class 5 Films, which are producing Thanks For Sharing, didn’t specify which parts Ruffalo and Robbins would play, but described the story as “a heartfelt comedy set in and around a 12-step program for recovering sex addicts in New York City. The bonds of friendship between these men help the overcome temptation and develop meaningful relationships for the first time in their lives.” Edward Norton will be one of the producers, and previously worked with Blumberg on his own directorial debut, 2000′s Keeping the Faith.
Blumberg, whose other credits include the pornstar comedy The Girl Next Door and MadTV, co-wrote Thanks For Sharing with Matt Winston. Production is expected to begin in the Fall.

YAY! Love Mark Ruffalo.
Why don’t they have ALL of the avenger cahracters in this film. There is only six of them. Where is spidey? Human torch? Come on. The movie looks great but it sucks that not all of the heroes are in it. But they did get the main guys so I’m satisfied ..lol
