Thirteen months ago, after stepping down as host of The Tonight Show for reasons you are overfamiliar with, Conan O’Brien felt compelled to take his act on the road in the form of the Legally Prohibited From Being Funny On TV stage show. While we may have put that Coco-versus-Leno drama behind us — O’Brien ultimately found a new home on TBS — it may be time to re-examine the Conan-in-transition era via the new documentary Conan O’Brien Can’t Stop (rated R for language and… rage, perhaps?). The Rodman Flender-directed doc, which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, shows Conan dealing with separation anxiety and post-traumatic NBC showdown stress (“Sometimes I’m so mad I can’t even breathe”) as well as poking fun at himself and others as he launches his tour in not New York or L.A. but Eugene, Oregon (“Should I be worried that we’re opening in a town… where nobody lives?”). Check out the trailer below.

I’ve no real interest in watching a millionaire complain about losing his job.
PS: However, I have very much really real interest in reading about and commenting about a movie about a millionaire complaining about losing his job.
(Especially while I’m waiting for Leno to come on…)
I’ve no real interest in saying anything interesting.
Yes, because having a lot of money means you should always be happy and shouldn’t complain about things that were wrongly taken from you.
nothing was taken from him
it’s his own fault that he didn’t have a time clause in his contract
if anyone was damaged it was Leno who didn’t want to go but was forced to leave ’cause of Conan’s ego
Conan’s show is funnier than Leno’s but that doesn’t mean he is completely innocent in all of this
John..sorry, how exactly did Conan force Leno to leave? Leno wanted to leave his show and handpicked Conan to be his successor. Leno’s show was cancelled, and he pushed Conan out of his old show.
It’s more than about money. He and a large crew of people lost their jobs and not just any job but one of the biggest jobs in entertainment.
It’s really not about the loss of money but many other things that go into show biz.
he could’ve easily take the 12 pm slot
Leno would retire by the end of this year and that whole debacle would never happen
now he’s at tbs with a show that averages 0.5 in 18-49 demo while Colbert pulls 0.7 and Stewart 0.8
Your negative nancy attitude makes me want to fart.
I can’t wait for THIS!
Even though he is a millionaire, Conan keeps it real. He drives a ’92 Ford Taurus for noob’s sake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no he doesn’t
that’s just schtick for the show
SO excited to see this! It looks so good.
I can’t wait to see it. I’m glad he got back on tv before it came out though.
I’d rather watch this intentionally funny millionaire than a reality show with unintentionally funny people.
Awesome! Been waiting for a peek into this minds head! ;D Conan’t wait!!!
