Warren Beatty isn’t exactly what you’d call a prolific filmmaker — he’s directed only four movies in more than three decades – so when he says he’s stepping behind the camera again, it’s news. Paramount Pictures announced yesterday that Beatty will direct and star in an untitled comedy for the studio. No details are available at this point, but the film is based on an original script Beatty has written and will go into production by the end of this year. The 74-year-old Beatty won an Academy Award for Best Director for the 1981 drama Reds and also directed the 1978 comedy Heaven Can Wait, the 1990 comic-strip adaptation Dick Tracy, and the 1998 political satire Bulworth.

Bulworth is a good film, Halle Berry even thanked him in her Best Actress acceptance speech.
Whatever he plans to do, it’s got to be better than ‘Town & Country’… :p
