The final chapter of the Harry Potter journey arrives in theaters July 15, but dedicated fans of the franchise are already lining up in London’s Trafalgar Square for this Thursday’s British premiere. Dozens are already camped out, prepared to do whatever it takes in order to get a glimpse of the movie and its stars. Wristbands will be handed out Wednesday morning.
Don’t feel too bad, North Americans (or Brits with jobs). You can catch every moment of the London premiere from the comfort of your own couch, as EW.com will live-stream the entire event. Be sure to check back with us on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET for total access.
Until then, here’s the film’s trailer… which you’ve only watched 264 times already.

And that makes 265 times. Thanks!
Hey – anyone know where we can get that “until the very end” poster they’re showing in the picture? It’s sending shivers down my spine.
*crying my face out* This is so sad… My heart aches…
Possibly they made it? It’s quite nice, but could be…
Agreed, they should market it, I’d buy it!
It’s the end of an era in cinema.
Yeah me too I’m really scared that if I’m in the back back
Pottermore gives me hope knowing that it won’t truly be the end when I exit the cinema after watching Deathly Hallows part 2.
Loving all of the Harry Potter info on EW. I think I’ve just about posted all of it to my facebook.com/fininc2011 group! It’s totally helping to keep the excitement building!
Already purchased my IMAX 3D tickets for Sunday at 11AM. Will probably have to get there at 8AM to get a good seat.
I got a ticket for DH 1 and DH 2. My local theater is showing them back to back. So excited!
me too!!! so excited to see them back to back!
no fair! i wish my city was doing that. is it only in america they are doing that?
Gah I’m doing that too!
Back to back and it’ll be awesome, problem though is that the theater so far has Harry Potter 3D midnight showings (including the double feature) so we’re waiting for the theater to start selling 2D tickets, which they’ll supposedly start selling this weekend.
I wish I could be camping out. Why do they insist on having these premieres on weekdays?
Wow, has a premiere ever been streamed online before?
I’m pretty sure they streamed the premiere of Half-Blood Prince online too.
I hope to see this movie at midnight, that is, if my friends can help me out. I’ve missed all 14 midnights (counting both books and movies), and I AM BENT ON SEEING THIS. I mean, this may be the very last time anything like this is gonna happen, so I’d be crazy to miss it.
In South Africa, the film opens next week Wednesday morning. We could only start booking today and I’m like so excited. I’ve never been so excited over a film. I started rewatching the previous ones from last week.
Does anyone know if Harry lives or not in the final movie? I sure hope that Voldemort doesn’t win. Please don’t forget to add SPOILER ALERT to your reply.
wikipedia it on the internet. this is a part of pop culture that even the most undevoted/ uncaring harry potter related ppl know. google it if you want to know. it is hardly a spoiler since the book has been out for ages. and it is not a devoted fans fault if u did not bother to read JK Rowlings masterpiece. GOOGLE IT
They all die and go to heaven (just like Lost).
Harry was really a dog. It was all a dream.
*SPOILER ALERT!*
Love the Lost reference
Beyond excited…this is going to be epic!!
and people complain uneducated, stupid actors make millions and millions….
anyone, exciting to watch, just not a lunatic
*anyway, I’m
i will never say goodbye to harry never!! no one can make me i will sit in the theatre and cry i have just finished re-reading the 7th book for the 9th time. i adore this series and love ron and hermonie and harry (not ginny though lol) i also love tom felton as draco and professor snape. i will not say goodbye and i will be having a movie marathon right before midnight screenings. also i am going to be going to the park in orlando. my mum is going to england on the 14th and i now regret saying no to coming with her and my dad/ brother.
Why aren’t they having a premiere in Hollywood? Hello entertainment capital of the world and you’re not giving it a premiere there? Instead youre giving it to NY? Am pissed anyways am glad i at least i saw one premiere
It’s in London. Y’know, the capital city of the country where the author was born? And the title character. And pretty much everyone else in the series. It makes no sense to have it in Hollywood, especially not the last film.
I like this immensely. lol
It’s okay Jason London never has big premieres because well all movies from England are not that good!
It sucks that it’s raining all day Thursday, but I guess it’s Potter premiere tradition.
I’m near London and you couldn’t pay me to get in the middle of that mess, but I think it’s awesome seeing so many devoted fans. Can’t wait for next week to come.
