Hours after Lionsgate announced that Elizabeth Banks would play the baby-crazed owner of ‘The Breast Choice’ store in What To Expect What You’re Expecting, EW has learned exclusively that she has hired her first employee. Rebel Wilson, Kristin Wiig’s scene-stealing British roommate from Bridesmaids, will join the ensemble comedy as Janice, an employee at the pregnant Banks’ store.
Wilson, who is actually Australian, has a strong background in television and stand-up down under. She is slated to appear in McG’s This Means War alongside Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon early in 2012, and will follow up with a role in the indie flick Small Apartments.

That is promising. Having watched her on Australian television for years, she can be very funny, though she is always type cast in the exact same role.

Oh grow up. For the last 10-15 years Australians have been coming over to Hollywood in greater numbers trying their luck. What special way they train young actors down under, it seems to be working.
… But only after they can’t get work in Australia because yet another American show steals an Australian show’s funding, time slot on TV and audience.
Should we look at how we steal their TV shows, and Britain’s shows and pass them off as our own?

I loved her in Bridesmaids but the scene stealer to me was the woman from Reno 911. She was hilarious.
