Hilary Swank is set to both star in and produce Radical Pictures’ upcoming comic book adaptation, Shrapnel, a rep for the actress confirms.
Swank will play a former Solar Alliance Marine, who helps lead an uprising on Venus against the tyrannical solar government in the year 2250. (Bring out the SPF cannons!)
Shrapnel, which is is based on a graphic novel trilogy released by Radical Publishing, sounds like it could become the Academy Award-winning actress’ first real blockbuster — I mean, let’s be honest, The Core doesn’t count.
