It’s far too early to start thinking about the Christmas season, but since debauchery, gross-out gags, and a very naughty Neil Patrick Harris are something we can celebrate year-round, the trailer for A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas feels right on time. The third installment of the stoner comedy finds the herb-friendly pair (John Cho, Kal Penn) getting in the holiday spirit by shooting Santa, punching priests, and inadvertently giving precocious youngsters “the munchies.” All in 3-D, no less! Hey, no one ever said these two would be on the nice list.
And speaking of, revel in the fun of watching Neil Patrick Harris once again playing a version of himself that would make even Barney Stinson want to wash away his sins (Nice to know that no matter what NPH does, he would get in to heaven, isn’t it?!) Check out the full, fairly NSFW trailer, which includes egregious uses for 3-D effects, an NPH musical number, and homages to movies and specials of Christmas past (check out the claymation!) Though, fair warning, you may never think of that famous scene from A Christmas Story quite the same way again.
A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas will arrive in theaters on Nov. 4.

I would see this just to watch NPH chew up the scenery (especially after they pretty much wasted his talent in “Smurfs”). And a dance number, too? I’m there.
I like it! Christmas film that doesnt take its self seriously at all. I feel like its going to piss people off too which is always a bonus!
I hope John Cho gets Kal Penn and Neil Patrick Harris to have cameos in Star Trek 12.
