In the true-life thriller Machine Gun Preacher, Gerard Butler plays Sam Childers, an ex-biker gang member who worked as an aid worker in East Africa and took on the Lord’s Resistance Army, a military group that forced children to become soldiers and left a trail of human rights abuses. he looks good in this clip but he is still the PHANTOM to me. love his singing and his acting in this musical.

Actually he is doing a good “Sam Childers” accent who has an accent which is part biker dude, southern & PA Appalachian. Check out Sam Childers interviews on the net. He lived in. Dakota, Minnesota, Florida and presently lives in Central City Pennsylvania.

I love that when you go to the machine gun preacher website it is really part of the Angels of East Africa website (The real Sam Childers organization to help orphans) It’s great that the producers really believe in it that much! And I think Gerard is perfect for this part. He’s got the right kind of intensity the part needs cause from what I understand Sam Childers is a man you do not cross. Good job guys!
