This photo recently snapped from the set of the upcoming film Gangster Squad only proves that the flick is full of dream team re-pairings. Not only will Ryan Gosling be side-by-side with his Crazy, Stupid, Love. co-star Emma Stone again (who is also pairing up once more with her Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer on the project), but he’ll also star alongside an adorable pooch.
While the picture of Gosling, Stone, and the cute bulldog doesn’t give much away about the movie — in which Gosling plays one of two cops (the other played by Josh Brolin) assigned to take down notorious ’40s and ’50s mob kingpin Mickey Cohen (Sean Penn) — there’s still plenty to take in. From the sexy and flawless costuming choices (Stone’s beautiful blue dress, Gosling’s stylish hat, both of which embody the time period Gangster Squad is set in) to their demeanor (who knew it was possible to ooze chemistry by simply sitting near each other?), it’s a crime we’ll have to wait for this movie. Emma Stone is really gorgeous. She’s amazing. That woman is incredible. There’s a lovely gentleness and sweetness to her. It’ll be an equisite performance, just wonderful.

I’ve never wanted to see an actor other than Harrison Ford play Indiana Jones… until I saw this picture. Come on, Spielberg… return Indy to the 1930s/40s and get Gosling on board ASAP!!

It’s a little known fact, but if you look at the “in production” section of IMDB, every film coming up stars Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Jessica Chastain, or a combination thereof. As they say, you could look it up.

I love them together. So glad they’re pairing up again. Since they’re both so prolific, there will probably be another movie starring both of them soon after and then another until Gosling is added to Easy A retroactively.
