As you probably know, the Muppets are getting a little help from Buzz Lightyear and Co. when the new Disney romp hits theaters Nov. 23 via a Toy Story short titled Small Fry. The seven-minute clip will air before The Muppets and introduces us to a smaller, fast-food meal version of Buzz (hence the title Small Fry!) whose goal is to switch places with the real Buzz Lightyear.
And hark! Just today, Pixar released a tease — which you can find below — that finds Buzz escaping the fast-food play pen but winding up in a therapy session intended for Fun Meal toys led by none other than Jane Lynch! Well, sort of — Lynch provides the voice for new toy Neptuna, a sassy mermaid who’s in charge of the session. “Welcome to the support group for discarded fun meal toys,” Neptuna says bluntly when Buzz drops in. “We’re just about to begin. T-Bone, would you find him a seat?” In addition to T-Bone, Toy Story mainstays such as Hamm, Jessie, and Woody are set to appear in the short (although they aren’t in this preview).
