Robert Redford will star in All is Lost, the story of one man’s lonely maritime struggle against nature from Margin Call‘s writer/director J.C. Chandor, according to FilmNation, the production company shopping the project at the European Film Market in Berlin. Lionsgate will distribute the film in the U.S.
For Redford, who directed and will appear in the upcoming The Company You Keep, opposite Shia LaBeouf, Lost will be his first starring role in another director’s film since 2005′s An Unfinished Life for Lasse Hallström.
