Men in Black III has been a curiously troubled production, dogged by rumors of behind-the-scenes unrest and a very public flap over Will Smith’s avenue-block trailer. But director Barry Sonnenfeld assured EW that MiBIII‘s difficult production was simply the result of too many cooks in the kitchen — and since when have too many cooks ever spoiled anything? Anyhow, the new trailer for M3B spends more time in the time-traveling threequel’s ’60s setting. Hendrix on the soundtrack! Funny old-timey retro sci-fi machines! Bill Hader even shows up as Andy Warhol, leading Will Smith to utter the already immortal line: “I don’t have no problem pimp-slappin’ the shiznit outta Andy Warhol.” (It’s the new “Snow Way!”) Check out the trailer:
