Pixar will earn yet another number one debut this weekend.

Their latest effort, Brave, topped the box office on Friday with an estimated $24.5 million — far above the rest of the competition. While the result is a touch behind Cars 2‘s first day of $25.7 million (on the way to a $66.1 million debut), since Brave is not a sequel, it will likely hold up a bit better over the rest of the weekend. The Scottish adventure will reach the box office highlands with about $67 million this weekend.

In second place, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter got off to an unremarkable start, chopping up $6.3 million on Friday. Fox’s $69 million revisionist horror film will have to settle for about $16 million over the Friday-to-Sunday period.

Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted finished close behind with $6.1 million ( a 39 percent drop from last Friday), but it will pass Vampire Hunter by the end of the frame. The animated sequel is headed to a $20 million weekend — an impressive result considering the direct competition offered by Brave.

Prometheus finished in fourth place with $2.9 million on Friday — its fifteenth day of release — and it passed $100 million in the process. The Alien prequel may earn about $9.5 million this weekend. Rounding out the Top 5, Rock of Ages fell by a steep 53 percent from last Friday with $2.5 million, which should give the 80s-rock musical $7.5 million by Sunday.

Further down the chart, Focus Features’ Seeking a Friend for the End of the World had an apocalyptic opening day with only $1.3 million. The dramedy will be lucky to pass $4 million over the weekend.

1. Brave – $24.5 million
2. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter – $6.3 million
3. Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted – $6.1 million
4. Prometheus – $2.9 million
5. Rock of Ages – $2.5 million
