• Biopics can be challenging to cast. Not only do you need a great actor, there has to be at least a passable physical resemblance. For someone as infamous as Lance Armstrong, the task is all the more difficult. Ben Foster, a former Disney star who transformed into a serious, respected actor as an adult, is in final talks to take on the role of the disgraced super athlete for Working Title. With a script from John Hodge (Trainspotting) and Oscar-nominated director Stephen Frears (The Queen) helming the movie, the untitled project is aiming for a fall shoot and will focus on the doping scandal.  There are two other Lance Armstrong movies in development at Warner Bros. and Paramount/Bad Robot (the project where the Bradley Cooper casting rumors started) as well.  Foster can be seen next in the Sundance hits Kill Your Darlings, and Ain’t Them Bodies Saints. [Deadline]

• Vin Diesel (Fast & Furious 6) is set to star in World’s Most Wanted. No plot details were announced, but we can all probably start to guess what it’s about, right? Wrath of the Titans writer Dan Mazeau is taking a shot at rewriting the original script from video game writers Will Staples (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3) and Sean O’Keefe (Lair). [Deadline]

• Alex Ross Perry, who directed indie hit The Color Wheel, has set Jason Schwartzman (Moonrise Kingdom) and Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men) to star in his next drama Listen Up Philip. It’s about a writer in New York and his photographer girlfriend. Sailor Bear principals James M. Johnson, Toby Halbrooks, and David Lowery — also the team behind Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, which Lowery directed —  are set to produce. [The Wrap]

Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland is starring in and producing the small film See You in Valhalla, about a woman who goes back to her hometown after her brother dies. The film is currently shooting in Los Angeles. [THR]

• Also currently underway in Los Angeles is Reaper, a horror film about a botched execution and a supernatural being, starring Danny Trejo (Machete) and Vinnie Jones (Snatch). [Variety]
