Sounds like Neil Patrick Harris is playing the town jerk in Seth MacFarlane’s upcoming cowboy-comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West.

MacFarlane wrote, directed, and stars in the western-themed film, playing a sheep farmer.

EW learned in our Google+ hangout with the Emmy’s host that Harris’ character, Foy, steals Seth MacFarlane’s girlfriend (to be played by Amanda Seyfried).

“I play a guy named Foy, who runs the moustachery… his [Seth MacFarlane's] girl, Amanda Seyfried, leaves him for someone classier in town like this guy [at which Harris points to himself] who runs the moustachery, so I’m kind of the Billy Zabka of the movie,” Harris said of the role.

In case you need a refresher on your Karate Kid-isms, Zabka was the perennial prep jerk Johnny Lawrence in the ’80s teen flicks.

Harris also gave us a snippet of fellow cast member Sarah Silverman’s role: “She plays a town whore, she’s super funny.”

Facial hair, philandering, and Seth MacFarlane – talk about A Million Ways to get people to watch your western.

The rest of the cast will also include Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, and Giovanni Ribisi.

A Million Ways to Die in the West will be released May 30, 2014.
