The much-anticipated The Fault in Our Stars—starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort—has gotten a release date of June 6, 2014, the same weekend as Tom Cruise’s sci-fi thriller, Edge of Tomorrow.
The movie, based upon John Green’s bestselling novel (and an EW Best Fiction of 2012 pick), tells the story of Gus and Hazel, two teenagers who meet in a cancer support group and fall in love. Laura Dern, Willem DaFoe and Nat Wolff co-star and Josh Boone (Stuck in Love) directs. The film is currently still shooting on location in Pittsburgh and Amsterdam.
Both Woodley and Elgort will first be seen in another buzzy release —the dystopian Divergent is slated for March 21 (they play brother and sister in that one) and Elgort will be seen in this month’s Carrie.
