If you liked the theatrics of Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show or the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, you’re in luck — Hamish Hamilton has been selected to direct the 86th Academy Awards ceremony.

The Emmy-nominated director is no Oscars novice. He directed the 82nd Academy Awards in 2010, when Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin co-hosted.

Ceremony producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron also announced 13 key members of the Oscars production team, including a choreographer (Tony-winner Rob Ashford), a music director (William Ross), and writers. In addition to host Ellen DeGeneres’ writing team, Zadan and Meron have enlisted the help of Kristin Gore (Futurama), Amy Ozols (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon), and Jon Macks (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno).

The Academy Awards will be broadcast live on March 2 on ABC — and don’t forget, nominations will be announced Thursday so check back to EW.com for all the latest in the morning!
