Golden Trailers: The nominees for best cinematic teases are ...

Do awards shows for advertising have “for your consideration” ads for their ads?

While your brain ponders that Russian nesting doll of a question, let’s take a look at the contenders for this year’s Golden Trailer Awards, the top honor for those clips that make you say, “Man, I’ve got to see that.”

The 15th annual competition doesn’t honor the best movie, just the most alluring promo. And it has a somewhat dubious special award known as the “Golden Fleece,” which honors the best trailer for the worst film.

The commercial for All Cheerleaders Die, featured above, is up in the “Trashiest” category.
