As if airports weren’t already stressful enough. In this clip from Godzilla, in theaters May 16, Lieutenant Ford Brody (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is on his way home to his wife (Elizabeth Olsen) when his airport tram is demolished by a radioactive monster called a MUTO (Massive Unidentified Terrestrial Organism). There’s panic, mayhem, and destruction — and that’s before Godzilla sets his enormous foot on the scene. (Check out the video below.)

In this reboot of the original 1954 Godzilla, Brody is the son of a scientist (Bryan Cranston) who devotes his life to uncovering the mysterious source of a series of electromagnetic disturbances. The investigation brings Brody and his father into close contact with the movie’s fierce creatures — although the actors mostly had to imagine them during filming, since the CG beasts were added later. Luckily, Taylor-Johnson has a handy trick for playing abject fear. “It’s not some technical emotional thing,” says the actor. “You just think of a great big f—ing monster.”
