Casting Net: Maya Rudolph reunites with Tina Fey, Amy Poehler; Plus, Keanu Reeves, more

• Maya Rudolph will reunite with her Saturday Night Live alums Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for Universal’s The Nest. She’ll play a childhood friend of Poehler and Fey’s characters, who are sisters who throw one last blowout in their parents’ up-for-sale house. Greta Lee (Girls) has also joined the cast. She’ll play a woman who gets a “pity invite” to the party. Paula Pell wrote the screenplay, and Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) will direct.  [THR; Deadline]

• Keanu Reeves (The Matrix) is reportedly set to play the lead in director Courtney Hunt‘s legal drama The Whole Truth. Renee Zellweger, Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), and Gabriel Basso (Super 8) will co-star in the movie, which tells the story of a defense attorney fighting for a teen accused of murdering his father. Daniel Craig was supposed to be the lead but dropped out of the project a few months ago, only days before filming was supposed to start. [Deadline]

• Isla Fisher (Now You See Me) will star alongside her husband Sacha Baron Cohen in Grimsby, a comedy take on the spy genre that follows a black-ops agent (Mark Strong) who is forced to team up with his dim-witted brother (Baron Cohen). Louis Leterrier, who directed Now You See Me, is helming the project. [The Wrap]

• Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride) will play a man with a dark past in Peer Pedersen‘s The Greens Are Gone, starring Catherine Keener as a mother who starts to lose it when her son (Anton Yelchin) disappears. Maya Rudolph has also been cast in the project. [Deadline]

• Molly Parker (House of Cards) will star in ESC, an indie sci-fi about computers and isolation. [THR]
