Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg to reunite, maybe do another trilogy

As disappointing as it may have been to see director Edgar Wright leave Ant-Man after eight years of development, there’s a silver lining: Wright’s now free to do things like partner up with frequent collaborator Simon Pegg again.

According to The Guardian, Pegg appeared on BBC Radio’s Screen 6 podcast and told host Edith Bowman that the two are working on more movies together.

“It will happen,” Pegg said. “We made three films in 10 years and hopefully in the next decade we’ll make another three.”

Pegg says that the next project has a title and will be something entirely different from the duo’s Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy of Shaun of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, and The World’s End. But that doesn’t mean the world has seen the last of the trilogy:
