Friday was a big day at the box office, with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Pt 2 and Skyfall holding onto the first- and second-place spots on the charts, respectively, according to early estimates.
The final Twilight installment raked in $17.4 million on Friday, putting it on track for $63.5 million by the end of the 5-day weekend. Meanwhile, Skyfall has become the first James Bond movie to gross more then $200 million, domestically. It earned $14.7 million on Friday, and will have a projected 5-day weekend tally of $49.6 million.
