'Foxcatcher': Channing Tatum and Steve Carell meet in new clip -- VIDEO

Steve Carell plays a murderer in the film Foxcatcher with the help of a prosthetic nose and lots of aging makeup. Lots

First 'Catching Fire' clip shows Katniss and Gale's tense confrontation -- VIDEO

Katniss-Everdeen.jpg

Some Katnisses are born great, some Katnisses achieve greatness, and some Katnisses have greatness thrust upon them.

The heroine at the center of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire may seem to fall under the first category — but she sees herself as a member of the third. As the Girl on Fire tells her oldest friend Gale in this first uninterrupted clip from the film, she never intended to become a revolutionary leader. All Katniss Everdeen really wants is to ensure the safety of her family and loved ones.

Unfortunately, the restless, downtrodden citizens of Panem have other plans for her. And Gale is serving as their mouthpiece: “You haven’t hurt people, Katniss — you’ve given them an opportunity. They just have to be brave enough to take it.”

Catch the clip below, as presented by Liam Hemsworth on Tonight Tuesday. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire blazes into theaters Nov. 22.

Happy Father's Day? Tony Danza drools over Scarlett Johansson in 'Don Jon' clip -- VIDEO

In the upcoming movie Don Jon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s title character seems to have a very open relationship with his old man, played by Tony Danza, and this special Father’s Day clip makes that pretty clear.

When Don Jon first brings Barbara (Scarlett Johansson) home to meet mom and dad, Danza’s Jon Sr. immediately goes into cartoon-wolf mode, barely keeping his eyeballs in their sockets. The Father of the Year contender even asks his son “Are they real?” after getting an eyeful of Johansson’s physique.

Julianne Moore gets her rock star on: Listen to the full soundtrack of 'What Maisie Knew'; Plus an exclusive clip

You’ve seen Julianne Moore play a lawyer, a housewife, a mother, and a post-apocalyptic survivor, but not until now have you seen her play a rock star.

For indie drama What Maisie Knew, Moore had to learn the swagger and the singing skills of a rocker. She plays Susanna, one half of the pair of negligent, self-involved parents of young Maisie (Onata Aprile). When Susanna and her art dealer husband (Steve Coogan) divorce, Maisie gets shuffled back and forth between the two of them, and soon her two new stepparents (Alexander Skarsgård and Joanna Vanderham) come to care for her more than her childish parents do.

Real-life rock group The Kills became Susanna’s band for the film. Moore sings with them for two songs on the soundtrack, “Night Train” and “Hook and Line.” READ FULL STORY

Captain Kirk leads a daring chase in new 'Star Trek Into Darkness' clip -- VIDEO

What’s a sci-fi action movie without a good high-octane chase scene? It wouldn’t be Star Trek Into Darkness, that’s for sure.

J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipated sequel to his 2009 reboot of the franchise is still three weeks away, but you can get another bite of the Star Trek Into Darkness action now with a new clip from a chase scene in the movie. But don’t be surprised if that bite tastes just as mysterious as all the other promotion Paramount has been rolling out — there are no revelations about the movie’s plot here, but there is an adrenaline-filled spacecraft chase that looks (and sounds) rather like Star Wars, and there are some fun moments with Zachary Quinto’s Spock being characteristically logical and Chris Pine bringing back his daring and defiant Captain Kirk.

Sexytimes for 'Buffy' alums Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg in 'Sexy Evil Genius' -- VIDEO

Laundpad Productions

Image credit: Lions Gate Entertainment Inc.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer alums Seth Green and Michelle Trachtenberg never shared the screen on the WB cult hit (Green departed the show before Trachtenberg’s first appearance), but nearly 10 years after the show’s finale, we now get to see them together.

The upcoming movie Sexy Evil Genius stars both Green and Trachtenberg, and a clip from the dark comedy starring the pair hit the web today.

Sexy Evil Genius boasts a geektastic cast where the worlds of Buffy, Lost, and Battlestar Galactica combine. Katee Sackhoff and Harold Perrineau also star, along with everyone’s favorite ’80s nerd, Anthony Michael Hall. The movie is about a group of guys lured to a downtown Los Angeles bar by the ex-girlfriend (Sackhoff) they all have in common.

In the new clip from the film, Trachtenberg’s and Green’s characters duck into a bathroom to frantically discuss a recent turn of events related to said ex-girlfriend. There’s plenty of adorable bumbling from Green and plenty of deadpanning from Trachtenberg. And there’s another fun surprise at the end of the clip — if there are any Dawn/Oz shippers out there who believed these two could have had some chemistry if they were only given the chance, watch the video below: READ FULL STORY

Watching this clip from Lindsay Lohan's 'The Canyons' will make you feel icky...

… but chances are you’ll do it anyway.

The clip features Lohan as Tara, a fragile young woman who spends two minutes scintillatingly looking for her phone (seriously). Some life is injected into the proceedings when Tara’s volatile boyfriend Christian — played by porn star next door James Deen — suddenly awakens and accuses her of cheating. Violence follows, although the lighting is so dim that you’ll barely be able to see it; there’s also some NSFW language, as should be expected from screenwriter Bret Easton Ellis.

Will The Canyons be the Showgirls of the 20-teens? Make an early judgment for yourself by watching the clip below:

'Jack Reacher' clip: Tom Cruise takes on 5 guys at once

Tom Cruise clearly packs a powerful punch.

In a new clip from Jack Reacher, which opens in theaters Dec. 21, Cruise stares down — and then beats up — multiple baddies by himself. “Remember,” Cruise says before taking the ringleader down. “You wanted this.”

Based on Lee Child’s popular series of novels, Reacher features Cruise as a rogue ex-military cop. The film is adapted and directed by Christopher McQuarrie.

New 'Breaking Dawn -- Part 2' clip: Welcome home, newlyweds! -- EXCLUSIVE

breaking-dawn.jpg

Now this is what I call excellent gift-giving!  The Nov. 16 premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Pt. 2 is just weeks away, but to tide you over EW has gotten an exclusive clip from the new movie. And … it is a good one.

This scene takes place toward the beginning of the film after Bella (Kristen Stewart) has started to feel more comfortable in her now-cold skin. (Just ask that mountain lion.) Alice (Ashley Greene) leads Bella and Edward (Robert Pattinson) through the woods to the most picturesque cottage and welcomes them home. “We thought you guys might like a place of your own,” Alice says with a coy smile.

Why ever would these newlyweds need their own place? We get a pretty good idea when, after Bella and Edward tour through one charmingly decorated room after the next (inciting some serious vampire real estate envy), they stop in front of a bed. But vampires don’t sleep! “It’s not intended for sleep,” Edward says, kissing Bella’s neck. And hooo-boy, we then fade to black.

What do you guys think? Could this be a hint that we’ll get an even racier scene than the infamous flying feathers in Breaking Dawn — Part 1?

Watch the exclusive clip below, and tell us what you think in the Comments section.

'Red Dawn' clip: Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson set trap for pesky invading North Koreans -- EXCLUSIVE VIDEO

In Red Dawn, our country contends with a surprise invasion by North Korea, who infiltrate and occupy a town in Washington state. Only a rag-tag group of teenagers — including Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, and Josh Peck — have escaped to stop them. (The film is a remake of the 1984 Cold War cult favorite starring Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Lea Thompson, and Jennifer Grey, in which the invading force was from the Soviet Union.)

In this exclusive clip from the film, Adrianne Palicki (Friday Night Lights) lures several North Korean soldiers into a clever trap set by her compatriots. Check it out below:  READ FULL STORY
