Oscar nominee and all-around it girl Ellen Page has just signed on to star in Sam Raimi’s horror flick Drag Me to Hell. The Juno star will take the lead role in Raimi’s morality tale about the unwitting recipient of a supernatural curse. Raimi (director of the Evil Dead and Spider-Man movies) wrote the script with his brother Ivan and will begin shooting the movie in Los Angeles next month. Universal Pictures just acquired the North American, German, Spanish, and Latin American rights to the movie at the Berlin Film Festival; one source tells EW.com that the studio paid $39 million for it. Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures is producing the movie.
