Mel Gibson's agency drops him as a client

Just one week after Mel Gibson’s longtime agent Ed Limato passed away, his agency William Morris Endeavor has confirmed that the controversial actor is no Read the full post.

He’s lost his likability. Like Tom Cruise, we know too much about Mel’s private life and most have found that they just don’t like the guy. Maybe he can move back to the outback and make films for Neo-Nazis. Like them, he believes the Holocaust never happened. He’ll never be as big as he once was.

    He needs Doctordate to help

Mel Gibson would be a much nicer chap if he stopped hating protestants and the English. We can’t be held responsible for Henry V111′s actions!

Michelle, i could truly care less about the Mel the man. Simple fact is, he’s a very good actor/director and, generally, makes terrific movies. Most of us probably would not like the majority of actors we enjoy watching as people, but they take much better care to present a carefully orchestrated exterior. I personally like the fact that hes not out trying to project a false persona. Frankly, its refreshing in our outrageously repressed politically correct society.

oh well, a Jew owned agency dropped him as a client after his agent died.
He is crucified for the “Passion of the Christ” movie by the “industry”. Luckily he has enough money he can make and promote his own movies and still make a zillion dollar.
A man is a talented actor and not a saint. So what ? We had Robert Downey Jr. who was a drug addict and the “industry” forgive him and gave him enough work to get millionaire again. O yeah, he is a JEW, so that oke.

Boycott this s.o.b. The ONLY reason I haven’t burned my Lethal Weapon 1 & 2 discs is because Danny Glover is in them. Another “n*gger”, like, myself.

I’m surprised you could afford these movie’s, maybe a five finger discount?

Just because his views are not liked by some doesn’t mean anything especially to his movies. Hes a great artist and none of this will really effect his movies.

  • steven

The jewish community can hate him all they want, noone realy cares

First let me say this: each and every one of us has said or done things in our pasts that would embarrass us or make us look bad. We don’t have the whole story so we shouldn’t judge too harshly.

That being said, Mel Gibson should really know better than to let anyone make a tape of him on some racial tirade. Clearly the man has issues.

I think you all have too much time on your hands! Get your own life and worry about it!

    Actually…

“That’s socialist speak for I’m lazy and I want your hard earned money because I think I deserve to live just as well as you do, even though I’m lazy. So many young people today believe they deserve the 3-2-2 and the Escalade because the deserve it, and, they are willing to take what I have worked hard for to make sure they get it. After all, who am I compared to them? Just their slave making the money for them to take away. What a bunch of socialist crap.”

…Is just brainwashing speak by those who don’t want a fair distribution of taxpayers’ money so *they* can get it all when they need a bailout (quick: how many CEOs after ruining the economy and the very lives of innocent employees refused bailouts on the ground that the practice was “socialist”? Yup: NONE).

Back to the topic, since the dawn of time the private lives of artists and they art are separate topics. From Leonardo to Van Gogh and from Michelangelo to Verlaine we have an history of sex, violence, drugs, homosexuality and what else. Does anyone care while admiring the Sistine Chapel? Tying one artist work to his “image” is a modern concept, and reserved only to modern artists. I.e.: childish and unfair (to art) to the extreme.

My suggestion to BP executives o combat the unending bad publicity caused by the spill, would be to use the same plugging device on Mel Gibson and watch how quickly the tide will turn for a positive spin. Imagine, a picture of Mel Gibson with a big BP plug in his mouth on the cover of People, Us Weekly, Star, The Huffington Post, Perez Hilton, D-Listed, Gawker. But what do I know? “Stars” got few hrs, community service or “not guilty”… on the other hand; regular/poor people sit many, many years in jail … Often w/o even proven to be guilty… (Police forces to sign or forges evidence- and they get promotion) “Stars” steal, drink, smoke drugs, molest, rape, kill… hey… it’s ok, “stars” can afford to pay for their sins…

Mel is a little crazy, but Oksana is a little crazy too- feel bad for the little girl but she should be taken well care of hopefully.

For heaven sakes, we’re talking about people who make movies!! Not rocket scientist’s, or people who will discover a cure for AIDS.
I can not rationalize the behavior of Roman Polanski against a child, and there are NO excuses. Mel’s past behaviors were reprehensible. The current recordings are no better, I will wait until it has been proven that it was actually him on the recordings before condemning him. I also have no respect for the girl friend or who ever is making them public. I know I have had conversations that I would not like to see reproduced on the front page of the NY Times. The bottom line is that none of these people are important enough for me to waste my life worrying about. What they have contributed has been entertaining, but not life changing. The world would be just fine if they had all been ditch diggers.
