Two years in a row for Julianna, hoepfully the Emmys listen this year.
She is the best!!! LOOOOOVE HER ON THAT SHOW!!!
she sucks
jfl, what is wrong with you?
i have a right to my opinion and she sucks shouldnt you be doing dishes or washing close women
Oh jfl, how you assault me!
I’d rather wash women from afar, really…
@boats…laughed out loud.
jfl the word is “clothes” you fvcking dvmbass!
What are “close women?”
jfl, won’t read any of your replies until he gets home from school. Hopefully he’s working on his spelling today.
Why do you all reply to jfl? The worst you can do to him is not reply to him. He wants a reaction and that is what you are all giving him: attention that he doesn’t deserve. He is a “flamer” and he gets his attention by riling people up. I just skip over those types of comments. I work with one and I just ignore him. With his insecurity, it drives him up the walls!
The Emmy’s haven’t been kind to her since she won for ER, which is too bad.
Julianna is very good, but look at Hugh Laurie. He’s long past due for and Emmy and still hasn’t gotten it. Those people who pick the winners haven’t got a clue!
eiather do you
Hugh Laurie is the most revolting actor on TV!
Don’t be mean. Hugh Laurie is one of the best actors on tv today. He deserves every award he gets.
jfl, what’s an eiather?
Stephanie, what’s with the Hugh Laurie hate? He’s an amazing actor. He’s a sophisticated, uppercrust British comedian/writer/director, but is able to be believable as a brilliant but slobbish American doctor.
@jfl is trolling still a trend? Haw haw
Did Sinatra win anything? The show was past my bed time. Love, Grandma
Hoping for Jeff Bridges, now that I’ve seen ‘True Grit’ I think he should win all coming acting awards!!
You must not have seen The King’s Speech. Colin Firth is amazing. I’ll take his stammer over Bridges’ growl any day.
I did see King’s Speech and was all over Firth for the win, until I saw ‘Grit.” They are both outstanding. Colin’s best-ever, however, is ‘A Single Man’ from last year.
you should move to europe true grit was way better and betty white should die that was bs she won and batman was great he deserved to win
You know, it wouldn’t be the first time the Oscars honored the right actor in the wrong year–for either Firth or Bridges. Wouldn’t it be funny if the pundits years from now say it should have been Firth last year & Bridges this year, instead of the other way around? (I don’t have to see either one; Firth won all the precursors, so he has Best Actor. No matter how good Bridges was, his big problem is he won last year; he’s definitely no Spencer Tracy or Tom Hanks.)
And you must not have seen “127 Hours.” James Franco gives THE performance of the year.
I really have no desire to see The Kings Speech.
Colin Firth deserves all the awards this season, his performance was AMAZING in King’s Speech
James Franco. Hands down. The radio scene is simply genius and brilliant and so emotional and connective.
Annoyed should move cause he/she thinks TKS is a better movie? How ridiculous. How about freedom of speech? And how dare you wishing somebody dead because you don’t like her acting. You sir, are a moron.
I’m with you about Bridges. His was a more physical role.
right on collin firth please
or i should say collin filth
Obviously you didn’t see The King’s Speech. THere is NO WAY that Jeff Bridges could have pulled off the wonderful acting job that Colin Firth did in that movie. He deserves every accolade coming his way this year! Jeff Bridges was horrible in True Grit.
that is so subjective – could Colin Firth have played Rooster Cogburn as well as Bridges did in ‘True Grit’?
of course not
Glenn Close should have won.
And I’m disappointed that Jon Hamm lost. He still has never won, and he was especially fantastic this past season on Mad Men.
I agree on Glenn Close. She won 2 Emmys for ‘Damages,’ well-deserved, I think she beats all comers with Damages
Want to talk overlooked? Look at the cast of FNL.
Agreed.
Agreed
Completely agree about Jon Hamm. This past season of Mad Men was the best yet, and he was amazing.
YES!!!! I’ve seen Boardwalk Empire, and really? It’s not half as intriguing as Mad Men and Jon Hamm. Crazy.
Yeah, Boardwalk Empire isn’t the best show or cast. It’s good, but there are other shows that are better, like Mad Men. But BE has the perception of being special because its on HBO.
It was before the actual show came on, but True Blood and Inception won stunt awards.
Good luck to Glee!!!
I am SO SICK of the lack of acknowledgement year after year of the work of Jon Hamm. Boardwalk Empire is overrated- ACK! It just won Best Ensemble!!!!
Well, some of us are SO SICK of the constant adulation of Jon Hamm, a mediocre actor at best.
didn’t watch Mad Men, did you?
Mediocre at best? Clearly you have never seen an episode of Mad Men. And constant adulation? The man has only won one Golden Globe for his role on Mad Men. No Emmys yet, and no SAG for his own performance.
mediocre actor or not, the work he does for mad men is undeniably stellar.
Me, too. Nothing at all against hamm, but even Buschemi has to take a back seat to John Noble’s work on fringe this year.
I agreed with you @tarc. John Noble is a FANTASTIC actor who has been ignored every season that Fringe has been on the air. Also, I’m glad Glee is not winning any awards (so far). It’s an overrated show.
I actually agree. he is a good actor but EW.com and SNL have been jamming him down everyone’s throats and its annoying. Im perfectly capable of liking an actor on my own.
Go watch this season’s “The Suitcase”, or perhaps “Summer Man”, or perhaps “Blowing Smoke”, or perhaps, you know, any given episode of Mad Men and see how your assertion about Jon Hamm’s acting holds up. I dare you.
Have you watched any Mad Men episodes, especially the one titled “The Suitcase” His acting is far from mediocre.
HAMM IS HOTT
i absolutely love Mad Men the acting is great, the writing is good, and i would say the whole design of the show is fantastic because it truly makes me feel like i’m living in the 1960′s for a hour
Hamm is nominated every year for everything. He’s certainly acknowledged even if he doesn’t win ‘em all.
I tried to watch Boardwalk empire and didn’t even make it to the half hour mark!
I couldn’t either.
Lame winners so far.
Al Pacino lame???? Modern Family lame??? Really??? Do you sit at home and watch paint dry for entertainment?
Umm… did you see when I posted the comment? It was after the 1st three awards.
Modern Family IS lame.
GO GLEE! GO GLEE! GO GLEE! GO GLEE! GO GLEE! GO GLEEEEEEEEE!!!
glee
kurt should not even been nomanated he is not funny not saying he is not a good actor but his character is not funny he is all about drama and all about the hard sausage in his ass
JFL- So much anger! Perhaps you need professional help. You are the most offensive person.
I agree with Stephanie — JFL needs help, big time.
jfl- if you’re sick of your sausage in his ass why don’t you take it out?
Boycott the little dweeb.
Glenn Close has never won the SAG award for her role as Patty Hewes on Damages. It’s kind of frustrating. It truly is one of the best female roles I have ever seen on TV, and there’s no one who could pull it off the way Close does. She is THE best actress on TV.
I agree.
I can’t think of a more overrated show than Boardwalk Empire. Don’t get me wrong…it’s a pretty good show. But I just don’t get all these awards. The casts of Mad Men and The Good Wife are far superior.
On a side note, that wacky woman who spoke after Steve Buscemi seems like a real loon.
Disagree. The cast of Boardwalk…geesh, Buscemi, Michaels Pitt and Shannon, Stuhlbarg, McDonald, Moll, Dabney effing Coleman, Michael Kenneth Williams, Jack Huston…they’re all amazing at their craft.
I agree. I just didn’t like it. They are all good actors, but great?
Yeah, I’ll disagree as well. BE beat the pants off of MM, and was better than TGW, though TGW is excellent.
Well, I’ll disagree with you. Mad Men is amazing with the best ensemble on television. It just keeps getting better.
Yeah Boardwalk Empire! Finest show on television and an incredibly talented cast.
The Boardwalk cast award I sort of see, but Buscemi should’ve lost to Jon Hamm.
I’m ready for upsets and underdogs to overrule!
Thank heavens the music interrupted that vapid drunk from Boardwalk Empire!
Totally agree there, Maggie. That chick annoyed me every single frame she was in during the show. It took me a little while, but I’ve definitely come to like the show overall–minus her…
Wtf was that ad montage about?!!?
Since this is an ACTORS award show, it was some sort of recognition to COMMERCIAL actors who rarely get any type of kudos.
Easy girl! It was just a little random…
