Tara Reid tells Entertainment Weekly that she has not signed on to appear in Piranha 3DD. The American Pie actress’s denial follows Internet reports that both she and Glee star Mark Salling had been cast in the Weinstein Company’s horror sequel. “I don’t even know what that’s about,” said Reid. “We knew nothing about that. We don’t even know where that came from.”
A spokesperson for the Weinstein Company confirmed that neither Reid nor Salling has been cast in Piranha 3DD, which is being made by the Feast creative team of director John Gulager and writers Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan.

Thanks Tara for confirming the actual casting. I thought it would’ve been a nice mainstream film for her, but at least she still has that upcoming dramatic thriller “The Fields” project which looks pretty good.
