The cast for Dimension’s Piranha 3DD, the sequel to last year’s bloody remake, is growing: EW has learned exclusively that Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames (left), and Paul Scheer, who all survived last summer’s Piranha 3D, will be returning for the sequel, which is currently in production. This time, the flesh-eating fish invade a water park and cause gory horror. Directed by John Gulager and starring Danielle Panabaker, Katrina Bowden, and Gary Busey, Piranha 3DD will hit theaters on November 23, 2011.

This needs to be a straight to the ScyFy channel flick! Their cheesy movies rock!
this is what 3D is for!!!
Erm….Rhames didn’t survive, his character was fish chow! How on earth is he coming back unless his character is now a super hero called Bait Boy?!?
Vin Rhames didn’t survive the first one! WTF???
Ummm refresh my memory, but didn’t Ving Rhames’s character die in this schlockfest? And what really happened to Paul Scheer’s character? He just seemed to vanish from the movie. And is the “DD” in the sequel’s title a reference to the large breasts that will most surely be exposed before being chewed off? I’m not eager to learn the answers to those questions
Yes, Ving did die heroically (or at least was dying) in the first one. Guess the door could open for his return. Paul Scheer’s character did disappear and interpeted as dead… In the deleted scenes of the dvd, there was a scene omitted showing Paul’s character being killed by the piranahs. The scene was shot, but the CGI was not added to it.
bring back Jerry O’ Connell
I wish Ving Rhames would do more mainstream movies. He has done so many straight to DVD films over the last few years. Does anyone know whether he is actually in Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol?
yes, he is.

Gerard, thanks for the ocnmemt. I hope you saw my earlier reply. The links on the side are meant to make it easier for those who have scrolled down the page to switch between pages instead of having to scroll all the way back up each time. We could consider a redesign if we find that the web pages are getting too busy . We will work on getting pictures of the group contacts, though.
forget Ving Rames, bring back Riley Steele!
Her breast implants survived the movie, so they might get cast again…
Que Bueno!
Elisabeth Shue was the only reason I watched the original. Why is she not coming back? Other than having taste, that is… But, the movie was fun!!! She needs to sign on!!!

Adam Scott was the only reason I watched the first. Bring him back.
If only there was a way to bring back Adam Scott
A better return would be Kelly Brook. I’m still mad they killed off the hottest woman in the movie.
You call doing Inglourious Basterds being lazy? That’s his geretast film. And the Kill Bill movies were excellent, as well. I don’t know who I find more stupid, you or the people who thumbs’d up your comment.
Paul’s character was scene falling off the boat when it was stuck amongst the rocks. But yeah, Ving’s character totally died when was using a boat’s prop to kill a bunch of pirahna.
but still no word on Los Angeles Actor Steve Szlaga, eh? Check Piranhas Have Taken Over the Water Park on youtube, lol.
After I saw that Gary Busey was in this i just didn’t care who else would be in it. He’ll make the movie
