Sounds good. It would be really interesting and cool if The Artist could get some legit buzz, but it’s hard to tell how much of a chance it actually has Oscar-wise. Looking forward to watching The Tree of Life, and I’m sure Tilda Swinton is better in We Need to Talk About Kevin than she was in Michael Clayton, where I thought she was good but nothing noteworthy. I’m really happy to hear Michael Shannon is still getting buzz for Take Shalter, and I hope the movie is pretty good as well. All in all, it sounds like Cannes and Sundance both had a good crop this year.

Come on, the only reason why Meryl lost to Sandra Bullock was because Sandra never won before.. it’s all politics.. Hopefully though Meryl will clinch the Oscar… She is simply the BEST
