The names “McConaughey” and “Witherspoon” are getting dragged through the Mud. But don’t worry — that’s not bad news.
Reese Witherspoon, Matthew McConaughey and newcomer Tye Sheridan are in talks to star in Mud, an upcoming film from Everest Entertainment. The project is written and directed by Jeff Nichols, who also wrote and directed this year’s Cannes darling Take Shelter.
McConaughey would play the title role, a fugitive named Mud who befriends a 14-year-old boy named Ellis. (Chris Pine was reportedly interested in the role earlier this year.) The two strike up an unlikely friendship and embark on a dangerous journey in hopes of reuniting Mud with Juniper, the love of his life. Sheridan, who played one of Brad Pitt’s sons in Terrence Malick’s Tree of Life earlier this year, would play Ellis, while Witherspoon would play Juniper.
McConaughey’s agent is Witherspoon’s husband. I know, who cares about!
April 3, 2012 at 8:58 pm Is there anything I can read on face cntoioamibn shapes? I look oval, on the lower, but heart or inverted triangle on top. None of these basics fit me, except when I cut and paste them together. I promise I won’t get offended, but if you look at my channel video, maybe you can tell. Taper chin, high slightly sticking out cheeks, wide and long forehead with a slight widow peak, but my chin it matches oval. Reply

Didnt she say somewhere that she wanted more kids and that she wakes up for that and not to make movies?
She needs to pull a “Kunis-Portman”, “Perabo-Headey” or a “Tilly-Gershon”! That would kick start her career again. I would pay to see that!
She needs to make a decent movie from time to time. All these crappy romcoms, she’s becoming almost as bad as Kate Hudson
