Hey, at least you have the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I wanna go there SO bad and it is literally on the other side of the contry.

I went to the Wizarding World last November, and I can tell you that it’s like stepping into a parallel universe. The attention to detail is impeccable. Hogsmeade village is breathtaking, so beautiful, so genuine. It was a wonderful journey. But here are some considerations: It was freakishly hot in Florida, even in mid November. The lines are horribly long, averaging 45-90 minutes to get into one of the tiny shops, so don’t expect children to be well-behaved and patient. The Wizarding World is tiny, waaay too small, it only takes up 1/6 of the Islands of Adventure park. My recommendation is that you save your money for Leavesden Studios outside of London when it opens to the public in Easter 2012. That will be the Real Deal.

I completely agree, we just went to WWHP last november and the lines were crazy long and the area itself is very small, not at all what I was expecting. I am glad we went, but we won’t be going back until they increase the size of the park. The shops were made way too small, I would estimate less than 50 people fitting into the Honeydukes shop, and we didn’t even wait in the 3 hour line to get into the wand shop. Save your money and go to Leavesden Studios!

  • Sandy

Got my ticket! Now coming up with an awesome costume…

  • Kelsey

Does anyone know if this will affect Dan appearing in How to Succeed that night? Because I’m flying out to NYC from California JUST to see him in the show, and this may or may not throw a wrench in that…

    • jules

We don’t start lining up to get to get into whatever this thing is until 9:30 so by the time the get everything ready for Dan to arrive it will be long past final bows. your show should be safe

  • Kristen

Got my tickets!! OMG I CANNOT WAIT TO GO!

***my best friend’s mom makes $77 an hour on the computer. She has been out of job for 9 months but last month her check was $7487 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read about it here NuttyRich.c0m
