Appropriately, Commissioner Gordon was at last night’s Gotham Independent Film Awards, and for a change, he was the center of attention. At least one of them, anyway. Gary Oldman, who in addition to his supporting role in the Batman franchise, is the star of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, was honored with a special Tribute Award. Three others were also honored for their career contributions, including Charlize Theron, the star of Jason Reitman’s upcoming Young Adult. She alone brought plenty of glamour to the event’s red carpet, as did Marcy Martha May Marlene‘s Elizabeth Olsen and We Need to Talk About Kevin‘s Tilda Swinton. Take a look at the evening’s pretty people.
