First-time feature director Nicholas Jarecki’s movie co-stars Tim Roth, Susan Sarandon, and Brit Marling, but it’s Gere’s performance as a desperate billionaire whose empire is crumbling that has garnered the most acclaim. “I am overjoyed to be working with Roadside and Lionsgate and their pioneering teams,” said Jarecki, in a statement. “From the first day of this film I’ve felt an invisible hand guiding our luck forward; it was the collective dedication of our actors, crew, and now our new releasing partners.
