The Twilight saga ends with the release of Breaking Dawn — Part 2 this Friday, but that doesn’t mean Summit Entertainment is getting out of the paranormal teen romance game. Like Twilight, their upcoming film Warm Bodies is adapted from a YA novel about a supernatural boy who falls for a normal human girl. The twist: The pair lives in a postapocalyptic wasteland, and oh yeah, he happens to be a zombie. Here’s an exclusive look at the movie’s new one-sheet:
R, our undead Romeo, is played by Nicholas Hoult of X-Men: First Class and “being Jennifer Lawrence’s boyfriend” fame. Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) plays his warm-blooded paramour Julie. Check out the movie’s trailer to get a better sense of its tone, which seems a lot closer to Zombieland than Twilight:
