EW can exclusively reveal that David Arquette and Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario have joined the cast of the action movie Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins. Arquette will play the role of lead villain “Lordy P” and you can exclusively see a shot of the Scream star in-(gloriously freakish)character above. Other newly-announced Chuck Hank cast members include Paz de la Huerta (Boardwalk Empire), Noah Segan (Looper), Michael Paré (Streets of Fire), and Andrew Bryniarski, who played Leatherface in the 2003 remake of Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Will a mohawk-ed Arquette be the craziest thing about this movie from Coatwolf Productions (the team which brought us 2011’s unforgettably weird, Mad Max-inspired indie-drama Bellflower)? Maybe not, given what else we know about the debut film from writer-director-star Jonathan Keevil. According to the official synopsis, Chuck Hank and the San Diego Twins will “center on a turf war that has been raging in the fictional seaside community, Old Port, for generations. On one side, the Syndicate — an evil gang of crank-head misfits, who have been set on muscling the San Diego family out of the parcel of land they own in the center of town. On the other side, the San Diego family: Tony and Johnny — twin brothers — and their sister Salsa are the last of a bloodline that stretches back for generations. Their mother, father and brothers were all brutally murdered in violent clashes with the Syndicate over the years.  Now the Syndicate is set on crushing the last remnants of the San Diego family, and taking over Old Port for good.” It is also worth noting that several of the film’s action sequences are being staged as homages to 80’s action movies and side-scroll video games. Do what now? “Do what now?”, indeed!

Arquette, de la Harta and the other new cast members will be joining Keevil and his previous announced costars Tyler Dawson and Evan Glodell, both of whom starred in Bellflower. Glodell, Chelsea St. John, and Vincent Grashaw — another Bellflower actor, whose own directorial debut Coldwater screened at SXSW earlier this year — are producing the film for Coatwolf alongside Gabriel Cowan and John Suits of New Artists Alliance. Kerry Johnson is executive producing for New Artists while Dallas Sonnier and Jack Heller are doing so for Caliber Media.
