This year’s Oscar ceremony will honor the 75th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. The all-time classic, starring Judy Garland as Dorothy, was nominated for six Academy Awards in 1939, losing Best Picture to Gone With the Wind but winning two statues for Original Score and Song. “We are delighted to celebrate the birthday of one of the most beloved movies of all time at this year’s Oscars,” said Oscar show producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron.

The Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday, March 2, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles and broadcast on ABC.
